This past weekend I was back behind the decks at The Rose & Crown (BS15 1BH), and wow, what a day it was. The garden was alive with music, sunshine, and some of the best vibes you could ask for.

The team had the beer garden looking spot on, packed with friends, families, and regulars all making the most of a proper summer afternoon. Drinks were flowing, plates of food were disappearing as quickly as they came out of the kitchen, and the atmosphere had that unbeatable mix of laid back and lively.

I built the soundtrack around a blend of disco grooves, soulful classics, and funky house cuts. These were the kind of tracks that bring instant smiles and keep feet moving. It didn’t take long before the garden turned into an open air dancefloor, with people swaying, clapping, and fully letting go. There is something special about DJing outdoors in the sun because the music carries differently and every track feels like it was made for the moment.

The Rose & Crown really is a top spot in Bristol. It has a stylish bar, great food (the roasts are still talked about), and a garden that comes alive in the summer. It is also completely dog friendly which only adds to the fun and relaxed vibe.

If you have not been yet, check out their website to book a table or plan a visit. It is worth it.

And for anyone who could not make it down, I have uploaded the full set from the day. Hit play below and you can soak up the same energy we all enjoyed. Imagine cold drinks in hand, sun on your face, and good tunes rolling non stop.

Massive thanks to everyone who came along and danced with me. You are what makes days like this unforgettable. Hopefully I will be back at The Rose & Crown again soon. Until then, keep the summer spirit alive and keep moving to the music.
