Booking Contract Agreement (Terms and Conditions)

The following booking contract agreement is made and entered into by Feel The Funk Disco and you, the client. In order to secure the booking, you, the client, must read and sign the following:

1. Booking and Payment

  • To secure the booking date, a reservation fee (20% of the total fee) and a signed agreement of this booking contract agreement are due.

  • The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event date (an invoice will be emailed to you).

  • Feel The Funk Disco reserves the right to fully withdraw service if the aforementioned payment terms haven't been met.

2. Cancellation

  • If you cancel the booking 60 or more days before the event date - Feel The Funk Disco keeps reservation fee.

  • If you cancel the booking between 30 and 59 days before the event date - 75% of the total fee is payable.

  • If you cancel the booking 29 or less days before the event date - 100% (full amount) of the total fee is payable.

  • If you want to move your booking date and inform Feel The Funk Disco 60 or more days before the originally confirmed event date - no charges apply.  

  • If you want to move your booking date and you inform Feel the Funk Disco between 30 and 59 days before the originally confirmed event date - the booking gets cancelled and 75% of the total fee is payable. A new booking is then created.

  • If you want to move your booking date and inform Feel The Funk Disco 29 days or less before the originally confirmed event date – the booking gets cancelled and 100% (full amount) of the total fee is payable. A new booking is then created. 

  • Feel The Funk Disco reserve the right to cancel the booking without a refund if the validity of the booking or the intentions of the client is in doubt. 

  • In the highly unlikely event Feel The Funk Disco has to cancel the service due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.

 

3. Equipment and Safety

 

  • Set up of equipment takes approximately 60 minutes. Equipment removal at the end of the event will take approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Please ensure you take this into account when booking a venue, and ensure access will be available during these times.

  • The client is fully responsible for the behaviour and actions of all of its guests who are attending the event, and for the safety of all Feel The Funk Disco’s staff present at the event. If a guest/guests shows aggressive or impeding behaviour towards Feel The Funk Disco, service will be discontinued until safe to resume. Feel The Funk Disco reserve the right to discontinue service completely if the behaviour is deemed unsafe and continues to be problematic. If this occurs, the service will be terminated, and no refund will be given.

  • The client is fully responsible for any damages inflicted on Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment (caused by you, or caused by any of your guests at the event). If any of Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment is found to be damaged, broken or stolen, service will be terminated immediately, and no refund will be given. In addition, the client will repay the full amounts worth of damages, plus the cost involved in the termination of future events due to sourcing replacements. Any damages caused to Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment must be reported to Feel The Funk Disco immediately.

  • Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for loss of or damage to property belonging to the client or any of its guests (for example, watches, jewellery, cameras, phones or clothing). Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for injury of the client or any of its guests. Please ensure you and your guests do not go behind the DJ booth or near to any of the equipment which is positioned on either side of the DJ booth.  

4. Marquees and Outdoor Events

  • An allocated parking space in the direct vicinity of the marquee must be provided for Feel The Funk Disco. 

  • The ground leading to the marquee, and inside the marquee, must be dry and solid.

  • A stage area (a flat, level, solid floor) must be provided where Feel The Funk Disco are performing. Feel The Funk Disco requires a space at least 3.5 metres wide and 2 metres deep.

  • The marquee must provide enough cover so that all of Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment is fully protected against rain. Side panels must be used and must be fully down.

  • If weather conditions deteriorate during the performance, Feel The Funk Disco reserve the right to end the service early if weather conditions pose a serious risk to health and safety. If this happens, no refund will be given.

  • If there is a power outage or power failure caused by a generator, Feel The Funk Disco will try its utmost to restore power. If power cannot be restored, the service will be terminated, and no refund will be given.

  • If a generator is required, the client must inform Feel The Funk Disco prior to confirming the booking (Feel The Funk Disco must ensure the generator is suitable).

5. Please Note

  • If you would like Feel The Funk Disco to DJ beyond the agreed finish time, this will be charged in one-hour increments, at £70.00 per hour. Payment must be made to Feel The Funk Disco before the extension commences. DJ'in past the agreed finish time is at the discretion of Feel The Funk Disco and the Management of the venue.

  • If the setup of equipment is denied by the venue upon arrival, the service will be terminated and no refund will be given.

  • Video and photography may be taken during the event, and  Feel The Funk Disco reserve the right to use this material on their social media, website and/or promotional material. Please inform Feel The Funk Disco prior to booking if you do not wish for Feel The Funk Disco to take any photos or videos of the event. 

  • Feel The Funk Disco shall not be held responsible for any loss of permanent or temporary electrical power.

  • Feel The Funk Disco requires a space at least 3.5 metres wide and 2 metres deep.

  • Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for any breaches of its obligations under this agreement resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, flood, explosion or other catastrophes.
